Aion · Last updated June 22, 2026

Aion is built to keep your attention, and your data, to yourself.

The short version

Aion does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The app makes no network requests. Everything you create stays on your device.

What Aion stores, and where

  • Your areas, projects, and focus sessions (including intentions, durations, and reflection ratings) are saved locally in an on-device App Group container so the app and its widgets can share them. They never leave your device unless you choose to export them.
  • Preferences (theme, style, daily goal) are stored in local device settings.

Notifications

Aion uses local notifications only, for project-deadline reminders and an optional daily-goal nudge. These are scheduled on your device. No push server is involved and no notification data is sent anywhere.

Live Activity & widgets

The Lock Screen / Dynamic Island Live Activity and the Home Screen widgets render from the same on-device data. They do not communicate with any server.

Exporting your data (CSV)

You can export your areas and sessions as a CSV file from Settings. This is fully under your control: the file is created on demand and shared only via the destination you pick in the system share sheet. Aion never uploads it anywhere on its own.

Children

Aion is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. It collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “last updated” date.
